2 Ophthalmologists to a University hospital!

We are one of Sweden's largest eye practices with over 260 employees. We operate outpatient clinics, emergency services, a ward and an operating room. We are the small hospital in the big picture.
About you
You are a senior physician/specialist in ophthalmology with a medical sub specialization. You have at least 5 years of experience as a specialist and experience in pediatric ophthalmology and/or medical retina.
To thrive with us, you should have good teamwork skills and a positive attitude. You enjoy taking responsibility, taking your own initiative and working in a team. You enjoy teaching and spreading knowledge to both students and colleagues. We want to make the most of your expertise and at the same time give you good opportunities for further education and to conduct research/improvement work.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability and previous experience in the clinic and research.
Job Responsibilities
In all medical processes, we now want to increase our medical staff to meet tomorrow's patients and needs. We are looking for interested ophthalmologists in; pediatric ophthalmology and medical retina. In these special areas, we will offer you great training opportunities in the form of courses in addition to the regular training program. As a university hospital, we are keen to be at the forefront of research and development. We work with new diagnostic methods in all areas. In pediatric ophthalmology, we provide national highly specialized care in pediatric glaucoma and pediatric cataract and have our own investigation unit in electrophysiology. For adults, we have our own hereditary retinal reception unit. If interested, there is the opportunity to work across process boundaries and excellent opportunities for research.
No surgery is included in the job-tasks, only plain medical treatments.
Terms of employment:
Daytime, full-time
7.45-16.30 incl. 45 min lunch
* Will there be any kind of on-call work?
Only day-time as a specialist, but if you want to earn more money or save on-call time, you can work some evenings until 19.00 on-call reinforcement or nights on-call primary from 16.30 – 08.00
Friday from 13.00 on-call primary to 08.00 on Saturday morning
Saturday-Sunday-red days from 08.00 – 08.00
